tainted MP Suresh Kalmadi to the parliamentary standing
committee on external affairs. Hindustan Times had first reported
on Wednesday that Kalmadi had found a slot in the parliamentary
committee. DMK's Raja-another tainted MP-too got a bearth in the
enery committee. On its part, the Congress saw nothing wrong in the

ally,
hailing Pawar as a 'very valued colleague' whose knowledge and

social media and investigate SMSes to identify the source of the

Constitution Bill,2012 for SC/ST quota for promotion in government
jobs in the Rajya Sabha, but with just two days left in the monsoon

asking them to vote for the bill.

inducting fresh faces to create a positive perception for the
controversy-ridden government. At least eight ministers are holding
more than one portfolio and some of them are also occupying party
posts. Apart from khurshid and Sibal, the other ministers who hold
multiple portfolios are Vayalar Ravi and so on. On its part,
the DMK has been demanding replacements for Dayanidhi Maran and A
Raja in the wake of the 2G spectrum scam.
