OVER ALL
It was an accident a minute on India's roads in 2011. And one Indian
died every 3.7 minutes- one of the highest rates
in the world. Delhi, which reported 7,281 mishaps, came a distant
second to Mumbai on a 21-city list. But the capital had more
blood in its roads, accounting for the highest number of
fatalities-2,066, a drop from from 2,153 in 2010 but not by much.
In comparison, 610 people dies on Mumbai roads. Overall, 4.97 lakh
road accidents were reported  from across the country last
year, according to trasport ministry's report.(source-hindustan times

(1)The CBI on Friday criticised the anti-graft Lokpal bill passed by
the Lok Sabha in December 2011, saying its provisions may"seriously
 comprovisions" the investigating agency's autonomy in probing cases.
"as far as the CBI is concerned, the focal point of the Lokpal
agitation
 has not materialised. On the contrary, the agency's autonomy of
investigation has been seriously compromised." the agency stated in
its

(2)Significantly, amid alll thse issues, a very important voice, that
of indifenous Assamese Muslims, is getting llost. According to the
  2002 census, this 25 lakh-strong community has been  at pains to
explain that the issue is not communal in any way. On the contrary, it
  has warned Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, chift of AIDUF, to desist from
communalising the issue.

ON MONTH
On June 30, chinese hackers broke into sensitive naval computer
systems in and around Visakhapatnam, the headquarters of the
  Eastern Naval Command(ENC), and planted a bugs that relayed
confidential data to IP addresses in China. The Naval
 computers were found infected with a virus that secretly collected
and transmitted confidential files and documents to
