employers before she killed herself, revealed an email recoverd by the
police. The email os addressed tO MDLR HR manager Aruna Chaddha, whose
police custody was extended by alocal court on Sunday. Apparently
depressed over continuous mental harassment allegedly at the hands of
Kanda, 23-year-old Sharma took the extreme step at her Ashok Vihar
residence in north-west Delhi. In her suicide note, Sharma, who quit
Kanda's company recently, accused the former Haryana minister of

(2)A 40-year old employee of MTNL has filed a complaint withe the
police, alleging that she was molested by her senior in office.
the employee had brought the incident to the notice of her seniors a
month ago. but she had to approach the police after they reportedly
failed to take any action against the senior. In her complaint, the
victim has alleged that she was harassed by her colleague with
whom she had been working since past six years.

(3)In another incident of crime against senior citizens, a 70-year-old
woman had found killed in her Rohini Sector 8 house on Wednesday
evening. The victim, identified as Gurjeet Kaur, used to live alone
and had retired as an assistant commissioner from the income tax
department. It was Kaur's domestic help who discovered her body
when she arrive3d at the house around 4.15pm, and then reported the
matter in police. The domestic help, who discovered the body, has
also been questioned. In her statement, she said that she had
found the main door opened and Kaur's body was lying in the bedroom.

(4)Nearly a week after the 17-year-old Ghaziabad girl alleged
physical, mental and sexual harassment by her father, some of her
family
members, including her mother, approached the Kavi Nagar police
station in a bid to withdraw the case. In her case, the girl had asked
for police protection. Later tow security persosnnel, including a
woman constable, were deputed for her security. Her family members
on Saturday also demanded that the security cover be

Kanda's bail plea, saying investigation could be hampered if he was
released.
